Poudre Valley Hospital

The nostalgia of this moment is that I was born in the same hospital. Pretty cool!

One of the last pictures BB (before baby)! The excited parents to be!

Pictures in between contractions.

Headed to the Hospital

Our story began with bed rest on Thursday and Friday followed by a "planned" induction for Saturday morning. Our appointment at the "Inn" was for 7 am. Jay had the day to tie up loose ends at work. I spent Friday on the bed with Grampy babysitting me. He cleaned the house, watered plants, and put together last minute baby items.

When Jay got home about 6 pm, he was ready. He said "You never know. We might have Baby P tonight!" I had come to terms with a planned induction finally and laughed his comment off... SURE we could, but it will be tomorrow morning as we causally walk ourselves into the hospital, no spontaneity.

The night continued with dinner with Grampy and Nana, they left and Jay was finishing up a bit of work. I was laying on my pregnancy, bed rest throne starting to feel what I was unsure of... light contractions??? A short time later, I finally confessed to Jay that I believe I might be having contractions. It's 8 pm and we start timing them. Within an hour they averaged 1 minute and were 4-5 minutes apart... TIME TO CALL THE DOCTOR!!! They say.... time to go to the hospital!

Here we go???

** SIDE NOTE **

Besides being busy adjusting and learning to be the greatest parents ever, our laptop has crashed. SO all the pictures we had diligently taken were almost lost.  Thanks to a large external hard drive and a stellar computer guy, we got them back!  All has been saved!!

It's a.....

BOY!!!!

The story is more detailed and I will probably post it at some point in the near future, but we were blessed with a handsome, healthy, baby BOY on December 29, 2012 at 2:03am.  He is an absolute gem and we couldn't be more in LOVE.
